Much like a blade, a correct set up can be the difference of a good experience and a bad one! We offer a mounting service free of charge when frames are purchased through Everglides.
Pilot Drill mounting is much like a figure blade. The pilot drill is used to drill holes from the top of the sole inward. This mount is typically used for inline frames (Linea, Snow White, Off Ice, GH, PIC, Mirage).
Pillar Drill mounting is where the drill is used to drill from the inside of the sole and affix the frame with nuts and bolts. This is typically used for quad frames. This is due to the way the frame pivots from side to side on the trucks. A Pillar drilled mount is a really secure fixing. This is not always available, some boots have metal plates in the heels and can only be pilot drilled in the backs. This is a specialist mounting, please call to book In for any appointment. This service is not available for walk-ins.
