We operate two Prosharp sharpening machines, one in each shop. Prosharp technology allows us to deliver a precise, consistent finish on every pair of blades, ensuring a level and accurate hollow every time.
Hollow options from 3/4″ to 1/4″
High‑quality sharpening suitable for any blades including Matrix blades
A clean, even finish across the full length of the blade
Fast turnaround, with most sharpenings completed in 5–10 minutes
Sharpening can usually be completed during your visit, making it convenient for skaters who need their blades ready to go straight away.
If you have more than three pairs of skates to sharpen, we recommend booking an appointment at either location to ensure we can allocate enough time.

The Blade on the left is “factory sharpened”. You can see its rough and has a grainy appearance. What you cant see is that the blade is also unlevelled. The blade on the right has been sharpened. It is now smooth, level and has a hollow tailored for the skater.

This is a diagram of level and unlevelled blade edges. It’s very hard to see with the naked eye if your edges are level or unlevelled. However using a level sharpening wheel we can help to highlight if your blades are even or uneven.
